We are so blessed and excited to announce that Dancing With The Nashville Stars 2017 raised enough funds to provide enough food for over ONE MILLION MEALS! Presented by LegacyTree Foundation on November 2, 2017, our 6 amazing celebrity dancers (Mike Alexander, Kris Everett, Cherie Hammond, Gregg McDermott, Allison Low, and Samantha Sellers) participated in the dance-off of the year in front of over 400 guests. Samantha Sellers won the dance award for Artistic Impression for her fun cheerleading-inspired routine, and Cherie Hammond won the dance award for Technical Merit, performing a variety of dance styles to Tom Jones. The coveted mirrored ball trophy is awarded to the dancer who raises the most funds however, through online votes, ticket sales, sponsorships, and personal fundraising efforts. Congratulations to our 2017 grand champion, Cherie Hammond! Her win was historic; she raised more than any individual dancer in our 7-year history of Dancing With The Nashville Stars!
