Businesses understand the principle that one can do well in business by doing good in the community. Almost every company has relationships with nonprofit organizations serving their neighbors, because those businesses want to add value to their hometown, want to make it a better place to live and work, want to "give back".
In addition to our many corporate relationships with food donors, there are other companies NOT in the food business who have allied themselves with Feed America First to help us in our mission "to provide food to those who feed the hungry". We want to celebrate some of those partners.
State Farm Insurance has sent teams of volunteers each of the last several years as part of their Good Neighbor Service Month Program, and has followed those efforts up with grant opportunities.
Logan’s Roadhouses have catered our Golf Tournament and Benefit Concert, and help us to raise money by allowing our volunteers to work their concession stand at Tennessee Titans games.
Steinmart includes us in their nonprofit fundraising Give and Save Charity Event September 23-26.
Corporate Flight Management of Smyrna, TN wanted a hands-on experience, so they brought their executive team to the FAF warehouse to bag a couple thousand pounds of rice and beans one evening.
A Major Retailer who chooses to remain nameless recently donated old equipment they were about to retire, and keeps FAF supplied with other items critical to the distribution of food.
Signmasters in Murfreesboro has volunteered to put large Feed America First graphics on our trucks.
If your company is interested in partnering with Feed America First, perhaps we can work out a program that suits you. Please contact us at tomhenry@feedamericafirst.com.
