Awards $10,400 Disaster Relief Grant

"In accordance with the grant-making purposes of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, it is a pleasure to enclose a $10,400 grant (to Feed America First) to provide supplies to families affected by the recent flooding in outlying counties from the Tennessee Emergency Response Fund of the Foundation."

With the help of some Community Foundation Grant money we established our Disaster Relief Bank, and we needed it last month to help partner agencies addressing the terrible flooding in Kentucky. Feed America First was able to provide water, cleaning supplies, and nonperishable foods to those families in need.
