Dear Friends & Family,

As you are likely aware, Eddie and I have served independently, but collectively for 4 years as board members at Feed America First. We did so, as we believe passionately in their mission to provide food to those who feed the hungry in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Alabama.

This faith-based organization distributes over 1 million pounds of food every month and will help feed over 40,000 families within a 250-mile radius of their warehouse in Murfreesboro, TN.

The need to feed the hungry right here at home is great and unfortunately growing every day. Feed America First must grow their facilities. FAF needs to increase its cold and frozen storage to manage all the food that would otherwise go to a landfill instead of making it to the dinner table of those families in need.

What is the need?

Time—FAF always needs volunteers at their warehouse facilities. Maybe you, your family or your church, etc.… would like to sign up to help prepare food for distribution—Or consider being a part of a distribution day, getting food to families who are counting on FAF.

Prayer—Put this group’s important work into your prayers of support as they continue to meet the growing needs of our region.
