Feed America First provides food to over 150 food pantries in small towns and rural areas across the region. Below is a highlight of Living Hope Food Pantry, one of our partnering food pantries in Cookeville!

Living Hope Food Pantry was established roughly 15 years ago in a small office inside our church. Patrons who came to the Pantry at this time were given a small box of canned goods, bread, and if there was meat it usually consisted of a ziplock bag of hot dogs.
The Food Pantry has since grown into its own stand alone building with an outside walk in cooler/freezer, which was donated by Burger King. We have put that freezer and building to good use in the past 10 years. Serving not only amazing food boxes to our patrons,  but filling their souls with the word of God.
Living Hope Food Pantry distributes every Tuesday. We serve upwards of 70 families each week. In order to serve this amount of folks we have approximately 12 volunteers who show up ready and willing to serve in whatever capacity we need for that day. We are Blessed Beyond Measure by our volunteers and their giving hearts.
Working with Feed America First has made our Food Pantry stronger and better equipped us to serve those who are in need. While we know that God provides for us in every way, partnering with Feed America First has made our mission that much more easier.
It is an honor and a privilege to serve the families of this community and to know we are serving them Hope and His name is Jesus!!
