It's true - 2.4 million people across our service area of TN, AL, KY, and MS are about to lose SNAP benefits. Feed America First currently feeds 40,000 families in need each and every month in small towns and rural areas across these regions, however, we are going to need A LOT more help to make sure none of our neighbors go hungry during this critical time. Feed America First was founded 25 years ago on a vision statement that rings true during times like this - "Hunger will cease to be a problem in America when we all refuse to allow our neighbors to go hungry." It is up to ALL OF US to REFUSE to allow our neighbors to go hungry, and we need your help! The crisis is daunting but with your support, we can get more food into the hands of our neighbors in need who don't know how they are going to set their dinner table.

Donate: For every $1 donated, Feed America First is able to provide enough food for 10-15 meals for our neighbors in need. Your donation dollar can stretch further than buying food at retail price as we have access to bulk food ordering, connections with nation-wide manufacturers and distributors, etc. This is the quickest and easiest way to to provide as much food as possible for our neighbors in need. You can donate online here or even Venmo us: @FeedAmericaFirst

Host a food drive: Over 70% of the food Feed America First distributes is perishable, such as dairy products, fruit, vegetables, and meat. Shelf-stable food such as canned chili, soup, cereal, Hamburger Helper, tuna, peanut butter and jelly, etc. is like GOLD to us - because these items have such a long shelf-life, they aren't donated as often by manufactures and distributors. You can host a food drive within your school, business, church, civic group, neighborhood, etc. to provide more shelf-stable food families can stock up and rely on when their SNAP benefits are cut. We can even give you your own online donation page to garner monetary donations - for example, the neighborhoods of Willow Springs, Franklin Green, and Falls Grove are hosting neighborhood food drives both in-person and online!
